Just like many of you beauty lovers I am totally and completely addicted to Sephora and exploring all things beauty. Right after I place and order, I’m still on the app perusing just in case I missed anything. If you’re not subscribed to Sephora Flash, I highly suggest it. A quick two days and you’re ready to slay with your new goodies. These are a couple goodies I picked up on a late night order that have gotten a lot of hype lately.
Tarte Chrome Shadow Pot- I have mixed feelings about these pots. They are super beautiful and blinding, but they are also really dry and crumbly. The swatches were beautiful when I really packed down the color, but I’m worried there will be a lot of fallout and mess on my face since it’s so dry.
Stila Glitter & Gold Liquid Eyeshadow- I was a huge fan of the Shimmer & Glow eyeshadows so I thought I would test the glitter ones as well. These seem to be a bit more chunky so if you’re looking for an intense glitter eye look this is the one for you. The shimmers on the other hand have a subtle micro glitter, which I reviewed here, that gave a smoother look.
Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Wear Foundation- Love this foundation!! I have been sleeping on this one and if you have been too, I highly suggest trying it out. I have semi-oily skin and this foundation lasted on me. I didn’t notice any separation on my skin in my T-Zone and it didn’t settle into any of my fine lines. It sits beautifully on the skin if you want a natural look.
Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer- I actually really liked this concealer even though I thought nothing could ever replace my Shape Tape. When applying it the formula was definitely not as thick as Shape Tape, but it felt very lightweight and still had a good amount of coverage. It blended out beautifully with no effort at all with a beauty blender and looked smooth and flawless once it dried down.
NARS Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation- It was a smooth application and looked nice initially. After I applied my bronzer and blush though, I felt that it looked slightly patchy and made the product cling on in weird spots. It also started to break up on my skin and made my fine lines really stand out.
Becca First Light Primer- This primer is a beautiful lavender color that I feel like can really help the redness in my skin. It has a beautiful citrus scent and when I rubbed it on the back of my hand it applied and dried down sheer. It claims to have “Cool Light Technology softly scatters translucent, cool violet light to brighten & even out imperfections”.
Origins Original Skin Pore Perfecting Cooling Primer with Willowherb- This may be one of the craziest primers I’ve ever felt. I’m so excited to try this, when I squeezed it on my hand its very foamy and whipped looking. When you rub it in, all the bubbles pop and it is so cold turning into more of a cream feeling! It is also slightly tinted to a very light beige color.
